I just had my chin at Animal Care Unlimited, they were really easy to deal with, and made it easy to work with them to find a time to get him in...good people.

Dr T is awesome!! (Parma Animal Hospital) He is my vet (thank god he is only 2 blocks from my house now (just in case) since we moved. He took great care of my Smokey when his cagemate turned on him and bit his toe off.

I WORK THERE! I remeber Smokey! Everyone loved him . I remeber walking in and Dr. T telling me there was a chinie in the back to go take a look at it. So I did and I was OMG poor baby! He's was sleeping in his cage on our x-ray table. How is he doing?

OMG, what a small world!! That is awesome, I know there are some people on here close to me, but I literally live right down the street now (not that I was too far before LOL)!! Smokey is great, at first I was worried, but he fully recovered from his surgery and is now living by himself so nothing like that ever happens again!! Well, I'd keep going, but I'm going to return the PM!!

As of January 2008, Dr. Norman Tuloziecki does not take new chinchilla patients. Just thought I'd put that out there for those who look here to find someone when time is of the essence.
I've found out the hard way that valuable time can be wasted when you need a vet fast and so many don't take chinchillas or new clients.

She's very nice, chin knowledgeable and her prices are MUCH better than Dr T's. I figured he would be phasing chins out soon, but it would have been nice if he would have told me last time I was there.

I wish I had known about these vets before I moved to Pennsylvania.
So many of you live near where I grew up and lived all my life until this past July... I grew up in Medina.
I know someone on here is from Akron, I'm seeing Parma, Rootstown, wow! Small world!
And to think I drove all the way to Ft. Laramie to get my baby. I'm sure I could have found a breeder much closer (of course I wouldn't have gotten Alfredo then...)
