Sorry if this has already been posted, but is anyone else noticing this problem? On the main page, it will say that the last post in a section was (example): Marble Tiles-ChinnyMommy-12 minutes ago. But then when you go into the thread ChinnyMommy's last reply was 2 days ago or something. At times it also sticks and all day long, it will say that ChinnyMommy made the last reply 12 minutes ago. Anyone else notice this going on?

Yes, lately I've seen it pull up some really old thread! Odd!

Are these threads that you mentioned Polls?? If yes, then the last action seen on the thread is most likely correct, it isn't a post added to the thread, but someone voted.

Nope, not polls Kalandra, just regular 'ol posts! I've also seen what Kindra's talking about, with is pulling up really old posts with no recent replies. Wierd, glad to hear it's not just my old mind starting to slip! lol :)

If there are more recent replies in a sub-forum, you may be seeing those posts as the latest post on the main page.

No, freddie. It's not that either. I checked and it is within the subforums also, for a non-poll. There is nothing out of the ordinary that I have found. And sometimes they go a day or two back. At times, I find a post that hasn't been posted in for three days pop up to the top of the pages.

Sorry, different issue there too. *OR* the thread has had recent posts, but it's showing an older reply as having been posted 2 minutes ago.

yup, I've seen it more with an older time listed as the last reply, when there's new posts in the thread, but I thought that might have to do with the forum refresh or something

Did anyone ever get an answer to this question? I was looking through the old posts to see if someone had already asked this question because I was wondering the same thing. I thought maybe when someone gets a change to their info (like I just went from newbie to member last night) it registers as a new post and brings it to the top of the list? That was the only thing I could think of.

Some of it is "cookie" related on my machine. I'm tihnking the the couple of patches/upgrades that need to be done by the Server Owner in the next week or two should fix the problems.
We'll have to wait and see.
