DVD, cause you can see it in wide screen and they have all the outtakes and stuff.

DVDs are SOOO much better, but I hate widescreen!!! I like when DVD's give you an option of which one you'd like to view the movie in :)

Well, seeing as how I had to fix another eaten tape the other day I'll say DVD : p They last muich longer, are much higher quality, you can fit more on them, they have chaptering and extras. I switched prinarily to DVD several years ago when the PS2 came out. Now instead of having an ungodly amount of tapes (taking up two 4 drawer dressers) I have a nice neat collection of DVDs. I have 200+ and the majority of them fit in my TV center.

I love my DVD player! I could never go back to a VCR. There are just so many more options with a DVD player!

DVDs. They're more functional. VCRs are slowly dying anyway.

Most dvd now a days come with both wide screen and full screen and they also make a disc dr that buffs out all of your scratches.

Why would anyone hate widescreen??? Do you like watching a play with the curtains half-closed? Don't you realize you're missing a chunk of the picture (not to mention the filmmaker's vision) when it is in pan & scan? You should want to see something the way it was originally filmed. If it was filmed in full screen, fine. But if it wasn't, why would you want to see it all chopped up?
