its time for hendrix fans to unite. i dont know if this has been done before and i really dont care. pick your favorite song and if i missed one that u like go ahead and post it.

I chose All along the watchtower, which is a classic obviously, I think its a beautiful song. Wind Cries Mary is great too.

oh thank you Strat for this wonderful poll! I voted for Fire. Ain't nothing like the drums and guitar in that song to get you pumped for a night on the town! This was no contest. All of Jimi's songs are great, but that one takes the cake for me.

yeah, i like the drums on fire too, its got a good beat. but my favorite would have to be voodoo child(slight return) just cuz i love the intro with the wah pedal and the insane guitar riff.

im planning on having my uncle play the star spangled banner(hendrix style) at my eagle court of honor when i become an eagle scout. that would be so great, id love to see the look on my scoutmaster's face when my uncle cranks that out at full volume. my dad thinks it is disrespectfull to america, and my scoutmaster is uptight about that stuff too. so naturally, i have to do it;)

Gosh... people still enjoy Jimi Hendrix? Cool... thought only us old folks liked him. I voted Foxy Lady cause I remember him playing that when I saw him in Seattle many years ago. (Or maybe I should have voted Purple Haze cause it was definitely that at the concert!)

Your question brings back happy memories. Too bad he couldn't have been around awhile longer.

For all of us fans who didn't get that privlidge (C & I We're not worthy!!), check out the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. They have a cool room you can go in and they play continuous live Jimi, complete with psychedelic lights....but sorry no purple haze :lol: Actually it's a really awesome place to go and bask in the wonders of rock. I highly reccommend.
