I saw this in theater tonight, it was a good move....not THAT scary ( tho i never am scared during horror movies ) but it was alright......TEll me what you guys think of it when u see it .

I'm not too into slasher horror movies (I like more psychological horror movies) but this one had enough action and creepiness going on that it kept me interested and frightened :)

just got back from the theater about an hour ago...pretty scary...lots of gore. it has been a while since i saw the original, but as i recall it was more psychological and less bloody, so i liked it better. but this one was pretty good. the big problem i have with it is that they have billed it as a true story, which some people apparently believe. i mean, it is (loosely) based on the actions of a real serial killer, but for the most part, it was just hollywood. but a friend of a friend was trying to tell me that thomas hewitt (leatherface) was a real serial killer, and there was a real texas chainsaw massacre, etc. so that part bugged me.

but the MOVIE itself was good, now that i have come back from that tangent. :) sorry. for those of you who haven't seen it, if you don't like gore, then don't see it. :Pukey:

also, as a side note, the theater i went to was pretty full, and the audience's reactions were pretty fun, too...you know, when everyone gasps or screams at the same time. it has been a long time since i saw a movie where that happened.

It was alright. I went a couple weeks ago, with some friends, and my ex boyfriend. I had fun, but it wasn't as gory as I expected it to be. I thought it was pretty good, but I definately thought it would be more scary than it was.

Sorry to bounce this one back up to the top since it's so old...

I watched it with a group of friends at night (all the lights OFF). And I'm the jumpiest one of the bunch! So I was constantly being poked, and had people walking behind me to grab me and shout "BOO!". Made for lots of screaming, lol. Needless to say, that night, I dreamed that leatherface was trying to kill me. LOL, but then I turned around and tried to kill him... very disturbing compaired to my regular dreams of flying, care bears, cute fuzzy pets, and candy. lol.

Oh, I should add that I woke up right as I had the chainsaw... lol, creeepy! I got up and went to sleep in my friends bedroom. Where I then dreamed of Ninja Carebears kicking leather faces' butt. lol. And then all has been good in my dream land.
