Jonathan Creek! I *love* that show.

And Red Dwarf, Mr. Bean, Black Adder, The Avengers, and probably some other things I can't think of right now.

Hi,

I like the prisoner......"I am not a #, I am a man".....he was known as #6.....and he did finally escape...back to London...its a 60's series....and the town does exist.

AbFab is hilarious. Although not a sitcom, the "11:00 Show" is a blast. It is a daily news parody almost identical to the "Daily Show with Jon Stewart." I think the "11:00 Show" may have existed first.

oh, i love 'Allo, 'Allo! that show cracked me up! i tried to find it on dvd once, but i think (if it existed) it wasn't region 1.

i also like the vicar of dibley, are you being served?, and fawlty towers. and i'm a monty python geek, too, although i guess that falls under movies and sketch comedy. here's my trouble, tho...other than the occasional episode of Flying Circus, i don't know when (or if) any of the others still come on. i guess some of them do, but could someone please tell me when?

oh, and what's the name of the one where the characters all work for an airline? it seems like i'm going to feel dumb when someone tells me, but i can't remember it.

isn't Young Ones the one where the food in the fridge talked? those Brits sure have an interesting sense of humor.

yep! talking food... a stand up comedian/piggy bank cat...cups of sugar for winter fuel... all that good stuff... i liked the "spin off" bottom for that season as well. nothing beats the young ones though!

although... league of gentleman came pretty darn-ded close ;)
