This morning I just made a new cage for Zoe and Lilly and we got this arched wood thing to put in there as an extra hidding space. Zoe seems to LOVE it except the fact that she is biting and licking at it and it seems that where she has been doing this bits of wood have started coming off. I am guessing this is no good for her and have temporarily taken it out. Do you have any ideas as to how to stop her from doing that? I know that can't be good for her...Thanks for the help in advance!!

If she's licking it, she probably thinks it tastes good. I would suggest taking it out before she ingests a piece :)

Is she annoiting with it? I know Sophie licks and bites at things for a while, annoits, and then seems to leave them alone. You can never be too careful though, maybe take it out just as a precaution.

I think I have the same thing, can it be bend in whatever shape you want? If so then I'm betting its the same one I have, Sonique licked and bit it when I first gave it to her, but on the package it said it was safe for them to do that, even if they eat it.
