Try this its great!!!!

1 can of diet soda
1 box of cake mix

Stir together and bake!

Don't add anything else! I used diet sprite and yellow cake mix. Just follow the directions on the box for cooking. You can use diet coke for chocolate cake mix or any other combination. It comes out better than a regular cake with less calories!!

I've heard that using a white/yellow/lemon cake mix tastes really good w/ Sprite! I've got to try this one of these days!

I make a really simple cake using 1 box of angel food cake mix mix w/ a can (about 1#) of crushed pineapple, sweetened in its own juices.

Dump the cake mix in a bowl, open the can of pineapple and pour it in the bowl. Mix and pour into a 13X9 pan (spray w/ nonstick spray). Bake according to package directions and voila! Pineapple cake!

My g-ma used to make a 7up cake. It was very delicious!! Very moist and flavorful!! I miss my g-ma and her 7up cake! :)

All sounds strangely wonderful. :slurp:

My mom use to make jell-o cake when we were kids.
Of course everything was from scratch. So I imagine it was just a regular scratch cake and then she added a package of strawberry jell-o to the mix. I could find out if any of you are interested.
It was yummy! :slurp:

Sure thing Snuggle,

I will ask my mom tomorrow how she made it.
Might try and make it myself if she still remembers how she made it.

Mom use to just make up stuff. Only some the Traditional Portguese Sweets did she sometimes refer to a recipe. That was only if she hadn't made it in a long time. Boy, I miss those days of Mom's cooking. :slurp:

Now I live 3 Provinces away. So when I get home to visit, it's pig out time. :slurp:

The cake that I made was perfect. It tasted better than regular cake I thought! I am going to try diet coke with brownie mix tommorow. I'll let you know how it turns out.
