Just to put this here... Do not under any circumstance take your chinchilla or any small pet (i'm not even sure if dogs or cats are safe) to the Animal Care Clinic in Elkins, WV. My two chinnies were treated like crap and poorly medicated. Also, OVERCHARGED outrageously. I took them these because the vet assured me that they had treated chinchillas numerous times. pfffff, never again. My girlies are doing much better now thanks to blacksettingsun and my discretion to stop taking them there, but I just wanted to put out a fair warning. Sorry if you are from central WV like me... make the extra drive to a better place.
