Whats (teens) your opinion on "gangstas"

I mean its normal for Hispanic, and black to dress "gangsta" but when white people do it, its ridiculus and stupid- your opinions?

Im not being racist but, whites simply shouldnt do it, they make themselves look like fools.

People where I live call whites who dress in that style of clothing want to be african americans. I don't call them that, I don't really care how people dress, it's there opion how they want to look.

I think that every person can dress however they want to dress. I don't care what your skin color is, your gender, or any other variables. If a white boy wants to wear baggy pants and dress/act like a gangsta, that's his right as an individual. Besides, most kids grow out of this phase.

Who am I to judge based on what people wear? I learned that lesson. Sometimes, people seem like they'd be "mean"-based on the way they dress, but when you get to know them- they turn out to be some of the nicest people... So, If someone wants to wear something, let them. The way someone dresses shouldn't be based on the color of their skin...besides, some guys who are white look pretty good in "gangsta" clothing, IMO

I agree Megan!! I dunno, I think the "gangsta" look it kinda hot, EXCEPT on the preppy looking guys. They sometimes just can't pull off that look, but it's okay, because I like the preppy look too! lol. It just depends on the person though. Like it has been said, let people dress how they wanna dress...who cares?

I think people look hilarious when they try to look "gangsta" Not to be racist either but, white people do look pretty funny when they wear those really big jerseys, big chains, sideways hat, with the huge speakers blairing out of their "pimpmobile".....i see people that do it every day.

I think this applies to, "don't judge a book by its cover" ... like Megan stated some people look mean and nasty till you get to know them. So give every one a shot. I must admit some people ,do where some weird clothing that doesn't appear to match there style but yet so do i.... i just say let em be and go about my own things. No matter how much you say things it wont impact any change or if it does very little results. just let them be who they are, and not what you want them to be.

well i no this is kinda off topic but ppl in my class think there gangstas cause they listen to music like 50cent eminem and lot that kinda music those that make them like some type of a gangstas or something?

no thats not gangsta. Gangsta is like du-rag, huge jeans, chains, and jerseys or certain brand name clothes

in my area practically everyone dresses like that. Probably not the "gangsta" way you put it but we have our own styles. I really don`t care for how people dress, such as punk rockers, goths, greasers and stuff. It`s their own style and you really shouldn`t worry about it.
