Has anyone else seen it? It was first a novel by Nicholas Sparks that was made into a movie. I didn't read the book (I wish I had and now will) but I saw the movie and loved it!
Did anyone else read the book? Is it much different from the movie? What does everyone think of it?

I'm not a fan of Nicholas Sparks' writing but I did go see The Notebook.
It was good. I cried!
I may just pick up the book and give it another go!
Hint: if a movie comes out and you HAVEN'T read the book, see the movie FIRST. In my opinion, the book is always better. Why disappoint yourself?

The notebook was awesome I cried starting about halfway through until the end. My grandmother passed away about a year ago and she had alsheimers(sp) as well as dementia, so the movie really hit hard. I dont think I could see it again because I would cry too much but the story was so beautiful. I think everyone should see it at least once, its definately the kind of love everyone wants to have!

I want to see this movie so bad with my boyfriend (plus, I have had a crush on Ryan Gosling for about oh, 4 years now) but anyway. Of course him being a guy, he thinks its a chick flick and it would be like pulling teeth to get him to go!

There's a sequal (sp?) to the movie called The Wedding... I've read that book, still need to make it out to see the movie though! I recommend reading the wedding just to see how the rest of his life turns out....

Was Breaker High one of those Saturday morning sitcoms, a la Saved By the Bell? Did the kids all live or work near the beach?
Yeah, I have TOO much time on my hands :|
