Well Iam getting my first Hedgehog, but Iam not entirely sure what toys to buy for him. I thought I would to see what other hedgehogs preferred to play with. I thought a big cruising ball, so he could explore. I though a wheel and maybe some little balls. Anyways what toys can you suggest?

I wouldn't use those balls if I were you. Hedgies can run themselves to the point of exhaustion without you realizing it. Plus, the air supply that they get doesn't seem to be enough, and what happens if he poops or pees in it? Basically, leave the hamster balls to hamsters. Actually, even for them it's not a good idea. ::ANTI HAMMIE BALLS::

wheels, toilet paper tubes, tunnels, cat balls with bells in them, matchbox cars, toddler toys, etc. I think there's another thread about this somewhere on here, see if you can find it and then read that for more info:)

 Hedgies love TP tubes. It is best to cut a slit lengthwise in the tube so hedgie doesn't get stuck. :)

Yeah, I cut them before I gave it to him:) This morning when I woke up, he had dragged it into the lil house he was sleeping in! My God I love this little one...:D:D

I gave my little girl a tp roll tube to play with, but she hasn't shown the least bit of interest in it. I even cut it in half cause she is so small right now(8wks) and yes I cut it lenghwise too for fear that she would get stuck inside at night when I wasnt there.
