Poop/Litter Eating.

I have relized my headhog's food has not been ne4eding refilled and the cage has not needed cleaning, what i mean is he is not eating, or poopin g as it seems. then today i saw him eating eather poop or his litter. i think it may be because i ran out of the food mix i usually give him and only have catfood snacks ands some hedgie food. but no good mix. but im not sure whats wrong. please help. im afraid ITS NOT THAT HEALTHY

There is a very simple solution. Get him the proper food.

Problumchild: Is your hedgie young or new? I remember getting really worried when my hedgie was really young, just came home for maybe about a month, and would eat his own poop once in a while. He stopped all by himself after a while. Apart from getting him "proper food", maybe clean his cage and remove the poop as often as you clean and then hopefully your hedgie will start eating properly naturally like mine soon!
