Does anyone know if it's safe to use a waterless shampoo product for animals on hedgehogs? Q-Bert has some incontinence issues right now with his hind-end problems, and his belly keeps getting soaked in pee. I don't want him to get urine scald. Wanted to get some info before I tried it.

I don't know anything about waterless shampoo. It sounds nice for travelling. I do use baby wipes for myself and my dog. I carry it around in my car for when I need to freshen up quick or for if I spill anything. I've used it on my dog's paws and mouth area after walking with good results. I've used Wet Ones and Seventh Generation wipes. I vote for Seventh Generation hands down. They are environment friendly company for one and their wipes are VERY soft and thick. They are wet wipes and dry immediately. I haven't thought about using it on a hedgie but I may use that to clean my hedgies feet. Good luck with Q-Bert. I hope he gets better very soon!!

I am not familiar with the waterless shampoos, but I have to be concerned about any chemicals they contain possibly adding to the problem of skin irritation when not washed off. I would go with plain warm water tummy baths to solve the problem of the icky tummy personally.

I use Johnson and Johnson Baby Wash Head to toes, no more tears formula. It is good I think

I'm with Becca. I wouldn't put anything other than plain water on him. Pat dry and then you could rub on some some vaseline to help protect his skin from the urine.

If the skin gets irritated, you might want to try aveeno oatmeal bath. It has no chemicals, its all natural, and I have read of other hedgehog owners using it, I have used it to bath my hedgie also.
