Tico does it constantly but Nemo I have never seen do it. Yesterday I let Tico out to play (Nemo sits in my lap, hes a lazy baby) and he attacked the carpet. He latched on and pulled with all his might, and then gave up and annointed. Crazy hedgie!

Gotta love those hedgies! Wally used to annoint after every contact with shoes or socks. Just what I need, a hog that smells like a foot :) Annabelle is more particular, she only does it after trying new foods.

I don't think I've ever seen my hedgie, Horlick annoint before and i've had him for about 1.5 years already! That's is until last week when I gave him a bath, he kinda turned his head back and stuck his tongue out, licking his spines. It was really funny to watch, but I didn't see any white foam or bubbles? Does everybody else's hedgies annoint alot?
