I know that often the mods will move a thread if it is in the wrong section. However, how do we get to that thread if we want to read it? I just get a message saying that I do not have access to it. Not all of them, but several that I have tried lately. Are some moved off the forum permanently? Thanks.

Some threads very well could have been deleted and that would be one reason that you can not access it. Sorry I can't give any more insite. Try contacting a mod and see if the threads have been deleted.

Heaven's Angel is half right on this. When you are denied access, it means the thread has been moved (rather than deleted) to a section that isn't accessable to members. This usually happens when a thread was out of line in some fashion.

So, what happens to it then? I had this happen to me today and was wondering why I could see it (the name of the thread), but not access it. Does it just stay that way for a long time, it is totally removed, or is it later changed to make it more acceptable and moved to the correct spot?

What is the name of the thread you were trying to see? and where is the location of the link that you clicked and you dont' have access? (This will help to find out what's going on and why you aren't able to link to it.) :)

The thread was called "Poor Puppy and the Liar" and it was by Awesome Possums in the "Other Pets" section. It says moved but when you click on it, a message comes up that it can't be viewed.

That thread was moved to the Recycle Bin. I suppose we should take away the re-directs to those threads that members can't view... sorry for the confusion.
