 So, the other night we watch Chello and Chinta playing and fed them their dinner like usual and everything was fine. We could hear them playing in their cage like they usually do and nothing was unusual, nothing looked wrong physically either. I go to say good night like I usually do and noticed that Chinta, who would usually sit up right away if you go up to the door of the cage, did not do anything but lay on his side. I turned on the light to see if he was sleeping, well he was laying still with his eyes open and his wiskers were not moving. Chello was up there trying to nudge him to play and laying on him, so I took Chinta out and held him and cried for a long time, my heart breaking. :nolove:  I don't know what happened. We buried little Chinta yesterday. :( We think he may have had a heart attack. I don't know and we'll never know. :( Chello is looking a little lost though, last night he ran around looking for him and actually bit me for the first time when I tried to pick him up, so I left him alone. Poor Chello, losing his brother. :( Poor Chinta for such a short life. :( RIP Chinta.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss! Maybe you should think of having a necropsy (sp?) done to see what happened.

Thanks. I put a stuffed animal by Chello that they got from Chinworld but he is not happy that it is not Chinta. :( Good thing is that he is eating and drinking but he seems sad.
