I've had my hedgie for 3 weeks, and when i was trying to get her out, two babies fell out of the T shirt!!! I don't know what to do AT ALL, i wasn't expecting this!
Please help!
The babies fell out of the T shirt, and now they're separated from mom. should i put them back or not handle them at all?

whew! I think she brought them back to the nest. I really hope she doesn't eat them all!
I got her at a pet store, and had NO idea she was pregnant.

ok, I did a bunch of research. Guess i'll just have to leave her alone for 5 days or so. . .I can hear them squeaking!

Oh my! I hope they survive. Yes, just leave them alone only give mom food and water but no more.
Hedgie hugs and prayers for your new babies. :)

Wow! What a surprise!!! Yup, like Nancy said, leave her alone. Try to give her as much quiet space as possible. I'd say leave her alone for a week or two. Just change food and water and that's it. Good luck! I hope they survive! Keep us updated!!!

Take her wheel out of the cage too if she has one. Some mom's will take a jog with baby in tow :(

Ok, here is another complication...Chris (American Idle) and I are moving on Friday. Since we didn't know that little Astrid was with hoglets we hadn't figured 7 day old babies into the move and we can't delay this (leases and all). Any advice on how to do this safely. We haven't seen them but there is definitely some squeaking going on. Thanks!
