Ok, so Astrid had the babies in a t-shirt (didn't know she was pregnant), and the babies are somewhere INSIDE it. She can't seem to find her way back to them. Should I move the babies with a spoon, and put the Tshirt on top of them? or will she eat them? They're stranded somewhere inside the shirt, I don't even know how many there are. Or should We just hand feed them? I need answers asap!

I would offer her another nest box, with some more appropriate mommy nest materials. I personally like tornup toilet paper for the nest.... soft, cheap, and the moms seem to like it. Hopefully she will take them out of the t-shirt, and into the better nest box. If not, after 24 hours or so, you can try transferring them with a spoon VERY carefully.

ok, so here's only 1 baby, but it;s big! it's been almost 2weeks, and the cage STINKS! I need to change the liner. is it ok to handle the baby nw? I don't want the mom to reject him/her

GENERALLY, two weeks is about a good time to start handling the kid:) Make sure that mom isn't REALLY stressed out by this though. Hopefully if anyone has an objection they will post it. I handle my babies at about 2 weeks, so I think you'll be ok.

I would change the liner but not begin handling babies at this point, until Mom adjusts to her new clean cage. Keep an eye on her, and give her a few days just to make sure she continues taking care of the baby and settle back down.
