Is it so hard that if you DONT know what you're talking about, to just not post? It's a shame that so many people are posting and don't know what they are talking about. Why post when you are going to say "I'm not sure if this is right, but ...." If you aren't sure, don't post - or go back and re-read things to make sure you are posting correct information.

I have to wonder if half of these people are posting JUST to hear themselves speak, rack up posts, or what?

Another thought.. what about these people who have NO Breeding experience, yet consider themselves experts? Somethings gotta be wrong there.

i aslo hate it when people ask the same questions over again (in the same tread) or in another form of the questions.

I started to listen to this, but got a feeling I should shut it off with the kids in the room. Was I correct to do this? Or was I being presumptuous to fast? BRENDA??LOL!!

lol, I didn't hear anything that would be offensive to kids there... funny though. The part about the search was most amusing.

I think the biggest criminals of postalot syndrome are people who are trying to replace their current less-than-satisfactory lives with a new made up one on a forum. I keep seeing it over and over through the years.

Yes, I tend to agree with your last sentence. There are some people who just post over and over ,again and again and never seem to leave here.I wonder what type of lives they really have!! I know the moderators have a job here and that is what they do....but others?!
I love my chins,,but have other things in my life too that keep me from being here more than an hours or so, off and on during the day.Just check in to see pictures and if there is maybe someone out there I can help with advise...but I tend to leave that to the pro's !!

lol! i don't have speakers where i am... but i totally hear what you're saying megan. one factor is definitely the postcount++ there are a lot of cute chinnies out there but hopefully nobody minds if i don't comment on them all

ALL YOUR CHINS ARE CUTE, OKAY?? EVEN THE NECKY WEDGE SHAPED ONES, TORN EARS, STUMP TAILED, TRIPODS, THEY ARE ALL ADORABLE!!! really! :D and it's also totally okay that you have to share the pics; i really like looking at them. (hm, i think i want to look at pics of mosaics now... ;) )

i think i'm only occasionally guilty of speaking without experience, but i try to post "what's generally accepted" so it should be accurate! like, "how often can i give my chins treats" well how many threads are there on that, and couldn't you find one?? i think the forum needs a "greeter" position, just to PM the new members, welcome them to the forum, and let them know where to find the FAQs and how to use the search engine.

there's this rock climbing forum that has the same as here, only worse...

but why am i talking? i'm a relative n00b, i worry over dumb stuff...then i search for information and try to calm down... .... thanks to all the mods and buddies for their amazing patience with countless people!
