Just saying Hi! After lots of research, reading and even more research I've decided on getting my first chin!
I'm dealing with Mary-Ann out here in Escondido, great lady, and she taught me tons of extra info. I spent a good two hours interacting with all her chins making sure I found the perfect match....but like most people here I fell in love with TWO guys, and I'll be taking them home next Saturday! Mary-Anns chins are so mellow and loving you would have to see it to believe it! I even got my first "chinny kiss" from one of them!
I decided on a black velvet male and an ebony (with a slight charcoal tint) male. Both born on the same day different litters!
The ebony male is the runt of the litter and his mommy chewed some of the hair off of his tail...hahah poor guy!
I have bad allergies so I spent awhile holding them and making sure I have no reaction to their hair, etc. I had NO REACTION at all which is rare!! I usually react to most animals if I hold them for long periods, like my friends ferret...two minutes and I was in hives from her.
So I'm thinking of names and so far I have:
Sake` (like the drink) or Audi (I'm a big car freak) for the larger guy
and Oliver for the smaller guy
Any suggestions?
Thanks and nice to meet all of you!
Paul
