I came home from work and looked in my hedgie's cage and it looked like she had been out during the day, which is new as far as I can tell. Then I noticed that her tube was missing. I had just moved it in the morning because it was kinda in the corner. So I peeked in her sleep box and there it was. I wish I could have seen her put it in there.

Heh too funny, this morning I looked in Nemos sleeping house and I noticed he brought his TP tube in there with him. I pulled it out, but it was kind of strange that he brought it in there with him.

Aw, how cute :) Bosco always ignores his TP tubes completely. However, once he did drag a dirty sock into his bed with him!

Isn't it fun to find them actually enjoying a toy so much. I have girls that take the TP tube into their nest boxes all the time, like security blankets. I have some hedgies that sleep out in the open with the tube on their head, I guess they think if their head is inside the tube they are protected.
I have one hedgehog inparticular who is 7 years old. Every morning I find he has pooped and placed his TP tube in his water dish. I think he does it on purpose to get a new tube each day. Thank goodness we can supply him with his favorite toy at a minimal cost. :)
