I brought my 9 week old male hedgie home today and the poor thing is covered in sores. The breeder told us that he was picked on by a sibling and they are bites which she has been treating with Polysporin. Is this something which I should continue? Will it be too stressful on his first night in a new home to be covered in cream ( we only have Baciugent in the house) maybe I should leave them and see how they heal up. They look nice and dry, there is no weeping, but there are 5 sores or so that are healing. What should I do, any help would be great???
