Ok, well to start off with Schmuzz and I just had one heck of a fantastic night! :D 1 Hour of cuddle time and then about 30 min of bathroom play.....that is we played in my bathroom not hers lol! She is making leaps and bounds with friendliness and I got to have a really good look tonight during play time as she was eating treats from my fingers.....even though partially balled......cause I heard that helps bring them out. Is that ok by the way letting them eat while balled?

We shared many meaningful looks and she showed me her whole tummy and all of her little feetsies......most nails are barely even there but some you can see well.....mostly the middle ones. Not long tho. It was amazing.

Here's the itching question again......when she really relaxed and was running around, she itched pretty much non stop......and boy can she manouver those little legs!! I felt so sorry for her to be so itchy and the mite worry got the best of me so I did the black shirt test.....I rubbed the sleeve of my black shirt both ways several times firmly on her back. Not even a teeny white speck and i checked after each rubbing session.....she had a free mini massage but didn't love it .

So to summarize, I believe she may certainly be quilling, but her skin looks quite soft and pink or greyish, and not at all dry. I also examined her close up quite alot tonight and can't see anything black or white crawling on her.

Should I get her in to the vet? She barely unrolls for me now, what will she do for him/her and how will he be able to get a skin scraping to tell if she has mites if he can't get her to unball? :( I have had her 1 week today and don't want to traumatize her or undo all of our progress and lose her trust. :|

Please give me some advice
