OK, so I awoke to a poopie wheel this morning! :applause: Now I feel like a true Hedgie owner. My wheel comes off its spoke fairly easily, so I just set it in the sink to soak and then I will wash it. What can I use to wash it since her sense of smell is so strong and she will undoubtedly have her nose to the (grindstone) wheel tonight for a while. :laugh:
Also I'm positive she didn't drink ANY water at all. :eek: I have a dish and it is easy to tell because I fill it right to the edge each day. She ate some treats and food from my hand during play time, and her food does look a little disturbed. :slurp:
I'm also planning on moving her dishes to the other corner and putting a littler box where her food is since its closer to her wheel and she goes to the bathroom alot there anyway. We also see the vet today to address the itching (Hope he's good, he has hedgie of his own) and I wonder if two changes a day are too much?
For transport, I plan on using the little cardboard box she came in sitting on top of her snuggle disk and then she will sit on her blankie inside the box covered by her other blankie like she does in her pigloo. Also the car will be prewarmed of course since its early winter and we will only be a few degrees above freezing if that. She will sit on the passenger seat to get less noise and vibrations than on the floor of course.
Sorry for all the questions in one thread, but it seemed like a better idea than the usual two or three separate ones that I do when I have questions!! :|
