Normal Behavior? [Archive]

Ever since Cleo got her hedgie bag she's been sleeping like the pictures below. I may just be over-protective but I'm wondering if I should worry about this. She's perfectly fine otherwise. I'm thinking maybe she's so comfortable in there that she feels safe enough to sleep like this? Let me know what you think!

I would say either very comfortable or hot. If she was hot, I would think she'd leave the bag eventually.

That is SO CUTE! I would guess that she is simply chilaxin in her hedgie bag and you have obviously got a really ahppy relaxed hog on your hands. I can hardly wait until I can see my baby do that! I hope to be getting a bag 'n hat from Teasel's Mom Nancy soon so I can see if she loves hers as much!! :blob4:

I doubt she was hot so I guess she's just a big relaxer :) lol She really loves her bag, I'm so glad I got her one ^_^ She was so sleepy in those pictures that she's wake up look at me and go back to sleep, if I touched she's jump and walk around and then lay back down the same way and then stare at me, she's so funny. Anyways I just wanted to make sure she couldn't be sick or anything, I'm glad to know otherwise. Thanks for your help everyone!

I agree with everyone else, she's just super comfy! Quillson sleeps like that when he's in my pillow (his favorite place to sleep). :) I think of it as a priviledge, a sign that he's truly happy. You're doing great! :)

Aww that second picture is so cute! Thats how Tico sleeps when I get him out, he was sleeping funny last night when I had him on my bed. Sometimes he will sleep like hes a dog with his chin on his legs. Im sure shes probably just comfortable in the bag. She probably feels like nothing can get to her when shes burrowed in her bag.
