Hello all,
I am from Hong Kong and I got my first Chin, Monk, in Feb this year. I just got my second one, Boo, last month after LOOOONG negotiation with my boyfriend. He mellows down seeing how Monk looked extremely bored on the nights we are returning late from work. Introductions between Monk and Boo have not been going too great, but I don't intend to push them. I am now letting them out to play every night for an hour. There are still a lot of chasing around and humping going on, but they have stopped fighting. I hope they will cuddle together soon.
Just wondering, anyone from Hong Kong in this forum?

Welcome to Chin-n-Quills, Oika. Can't wait to see some pictures of your chinnies!! Actually I born in Hong Kong and I immigrated to Canada about 10 years ago, so I guess I still count as coming from Hong Kong. :)

Thanks all for the warm welcome.
ChinBee, nice meeting you. I was in Vancouver too for almost ten years. And then I return to HK after I graduate from university. My whole family is still in Vancouver, I am the only one here.....
I asked that question about whether there are any people here from Hong Kong because I am not sure about any experienced vet here. I thought to get that information ready before any accident.... And before you know it, the accident happened. Boo got her leg caught between the spokes of the wheel just yesterday..... Luckily, I called the pet shop which I bought her and they recommanded me to a very good vet. Boo is ok, no major bone broken, but she will need to stay in her cage for the next couple of days.

Congrats and Welcome! Make yourself at home. Post your chinnie pix some time. We'd love to see your babies. They must be supercute! :) I live in the U.S, but my mom is Cantonese. I think that's the language you speak in Hong Kong. :D
