Someone Your Hedgie Doesn't Like?

Is there someone you know that your hedgehog just doesn't like? Quillson is friendly with everyone he's come in contact with except for one person - my cousin Mandy. Every time she so much as gets near him he huffs, hisses, and pops! It's totally out of his character, but he really doesn't like her!

Maybe hedgehogs are good judges of character?! I love my cousin, but she doesn't make the best choices and is extremely selfish... I won't get into that here... I was just wondering if Quillson's the only one who does this.

My Cleo hates my friend Leonard. She loves everyone else as well. She bites the heck out of him and huffs, etc. I really don't know why she does but oh well..lol

My husband swears that they don't like him. He says whenever he walks in the room everyone starts to huff. It is just because they don't know who he is. I tell him to say "it's just me guys" and they will be fine. They'd huff at me too if I didn't announce myself. :laugh:

Well I cant answer your question if Leonard smokes or not but I will answer your first question. Chupa pretty much hates everyone that isnt me or my sister and select few other people most of whom ive only ever met once. I dont know why, he'll huff and huff at one person and then I show him to someone else thats never met him and he'll be fine.

Kiwi doesn't seems to like my sister-in-law ! Every times she's around, Kiwi hiss and ball !

Actually Leonard doesn't smoke but I do and my dad does. Maybe it's the lack of the smoke-smell that she doesn't like?

Is your cousin a smoker? I noticed over the years, if hedgehogs live in a non-smoker home and then are introduced to a smoker, they act like Quillson.

Just a thought, or it could be her perfume.
