Hi, our class has a Chinchilla named Momo. He is a cute furball, and I love him very much (as does our class).

I was wondering if anyone had a chinchilla that nibbles on your clothes and tries to pull you into their cage?

thanks! :)

Welcome to CnQ!
I think we all have chins who like to nibble on us. Anything to get us closer and it gives them a wonderful opportunity to beg for a treat :)

Welcome to Chins-n-Quills, Chinmomo!! My chins nibble on my clothes all the time and they will do it whenever I get close to the cage. But I think all chins do that like paris26 says. :)

Momo is a standard (?) grey chinchilla. Male. We got him from a middle school science teacher that couldn't keep him anymore because he was becoming a "distraction". Just one look and the little cutie and I knew our class had to have him! (I'm an aide in the classroom)

So far I have heard him do the "I wanna treat" squeak, and the "I've done a trick, now gimme my treat" (dance).

:)

He sometimes goes out on a leash with the classroom teacher. She's got him leash trained.

I heard chins like to "rearrange" their furniture in a Feng shui style. So, I got him some new "furniture". A little square of rug, a little box, and a small ball he can roll around. :)
