something wrong with posted pics

90% of the time when someone posts a pic it wont show up on my computer and just says attached thumbnails in blue, but that other 10% of the time they will show up, so does anyone know whats wrong?

Do you have a firewall setting that is not allowing the preview of the pic to come up? What type of connection do you have to the internet? Is it possible that it's timing out before the picture previews have popped up? Hmmm...will do some more brainstorming...

i do have a firewall but then why would it let me see some pics but not others? and i have roadrunner.

Let me know which threads it does it on the next time it does that to you. Maybe there is a reason outside of something you are doing to make it happen.

Hey insane taco, I had the same thing happen and discovered the problem to be McAfee's Privacy Service right when I upgraded to the 2005 version last week. If you are running this or any other type of protection other than virus scan, try disabling it and refresh your screen and see if the jpegs show up. Hope this helps.
