Normally when I give Bosco a bath, I focus on his body, and try to keep the water as far away from his face and ears as possible. However, lately I have noticed that the fur directly under his ears is starting to look a little yellow. There is no discharge or anything coming out of his ears, so I am assuming that it is just his ear wax that is causing this this slight yellow coloration. It really isnt causing any problems, except that it is bugging me. Is this just something I'll have to accept and live with, or is "ear cleaning"(not directly in the ear of course, just around the outside), in some shape and form, something I should be doing anyways?
When you give your hedgie a bath, how close do you get to the ears?
Has anyone else ever encountered a problem like this? And if so, how did you solve it?
Thanks in advance :)
PS- FYI-Bosco doesnt get full baths very often, maybe once a month, if that. He does however get a foot bath every second day or so to keep his little feet clean. He isnt allowed in my bed unless his feet are clean :) hehe
