What do people mix with Royal Canin 38? How much of each do you use? How gradually would you make the switch from one type of food to the other? How much food do you give your hedgehog per day (ex. 1 cup)?

I think that's all

My mix contains Royal Canin Slim 38, Royal Canin Special Mini (its a dog food), Nutram Adult, Wellness Lite, and Eagle Pack Holistic.

3 parts RC Slim
2 Parts Nutram Adult
2 Parts RC Special Mini
1.5-2 Parts Wellness Lite
1 Part Eagle Pack Holistic

These are only approximations - The EP and the Wellness are the lesser of everything else because Bosco doesnt really care for them a whole lot. But they are in there anyways since I dont give him alot of food per night (maybe 3 tablespoons or so), so when he runs out of the stuff he likes, he has to eat the other stuff too if he is still hungry. Ive found that this seems to be a good amount of food because there are always stray kibbles left over in the morning. This way not alot of food is going to waste :)

I would very slowly just keep integrating the new kibbles into the old mixture over a period of a couple weeks to a month. The slower you do it, the easier it will be on their system.

I use Royal Canin Slim 38, Blue Buffalo Lite, Chicken Soup for the Cat Lover's Soul Adult and Lite formulas, and now I have added Special Kitty for fiber. I mix 1 part of everything to 1/2 part of the Special Kitty (more or less).

For pregnant/nursing mums and weaning hogs I add in Wysong Feline Vitality.

When you switch over you should do so gradually. You could also probably just add in the Royal Canin to the mix you have, say 1/4 part Royal Canin to 1 part of your mix.
