Constipated Hedgie? :(

Cleo seemed to have a hard time going tonight, she was sitting there trying to poo for the longest time. Is there anything I can give her to get rid of constipation? Let me know!

You might want to try a warm bath... My quill kids usually go as soon as they hit the warm water. If that doesn't work you can try a bit of canned pumpkin. That seems to work also.

My hedgie didn't do so well with pumpkin, I think I gave her too much. But she was anointing her butt with it so it was kinda hard to tell. :rolleyes: Has she been eating a lot of treats (crickets, mealies)? I'm pretty sure that is what caused constipation in Aleena.

Cleo seemed better after the bath, she hates it so yes she pooed in there..lol. I'll have to buy some canned pumpkin incase it happens again.
