I have a question.

What kind of vitamins can I give to my hedgie ?

I got vitamins from our vet when Cinder was sick. They are drops called Vetamino4x.

My hedgie gets crickets that are gutloaded with a calcium supplement. Also, I got some little things that look like flattened chocolate chips which are filled with many different vitamins and have nothing artificial in them. They are all natural. :slurp: I break up tiny pieces like the size of a 1/2 of a shelled sunflower seed, and she gets about 3 little bits each night in her treat dish with her bugs. She likes it so far and its a good way to get a little extra in her tummy. I also put a few drops of olive oil in her food each night for her skin and because it is so dry here, especially in the winter. :|

Do you have some brand's names I could use for an hedgie and that I could find in a pet store ?

There are small animal vitamins available in pet stores but I don't know about using them for hedgies.
You would not need an appointment to get the vitamins from any vet. They are not prescription. :slurp:

So I just go to the vet (believe me, I will not go anymore to see the vet I saw this week) and ask for the type of vitamins you suggest me in a previous post ? (Vetamino4X)

Do I have to mention the quantity I want or does it came in a standard bottle ?

Thanks !

It comes in a standard little bottle with a dropper. Just say you'd like vitamins for your hedgehog and they will have something I'm sure. Maybe just not the brand I mentioned. :) Why not phone around first.

If you are feeding a mix of high quality food and live insects you should not need to supplement with vitamins.

I agree with that. But Kiwi doesn't really like fruits & vegetables

Hedgehogs are insectivores and not omnivores so I am not sure why people feel the need to feed fruits and veggies. You can offer a little bit but I do not see where it is that necessary. You can also try baby foods for the fruits and veggies.
