Our sweet girl, Aleena

Our little Aleena died today. There had been a chance that her health problem was cancer and despite our best efforts, she passed on. She will be greatly, greatly missed by myself and my husband, Justin. I don't have anything else to say... She was a tease and a biter and she was my sweet, sweet girl and nothing can ever replace her.

Cancer seems to be a frequent cause of death in hedgehogs. It is sad !

I only had her since August, I adopted her as a retired breeder (from a reputable breeder). I wish I could have had her longer. :nolove:

Ahhh.....I'm sorry to hear about your little hedgehog. :( We were just talking about her the other day and I could tell how much you loved and cared about her. It is SO hard to lose these guys; I know I just cried and cried when I lost my first chin. I couldn't even talk about it and I hadn't even had her that long.

You are in my thoughts.....
