i thought of a name for you new hedgie owners... well since i live in korea, the korean name for hedgehog is "go seum do chi" and we usually just call them do chi cuz its shorter. since im so used to the word dochi i didnt really think of naming my hh dochi.. .its like you guys not wanting to call your hedgehog "hog" or "hedge". the "DO" is pronounced like "dough" as in flour + water dough.... and the CHI is pronounced like cheat. the CHEE sound. so DOugh CHEAt
juss a suggestion

its very cute, if i had a little hedgie, I'd use the name for sure. My girls have Korean names :) - Bo-bae & Nabi. :D I'm taking Korean in college right now. I had some crazy notion that I should learn the language of my mother's homeland. Anyhow, cute suggestion for a hedgehog name. I also like Kaekuri for a chinnie. (frog - you know because they hop)

Very cool. I named two of my pogs after native Puerto Rican things.

Marco was already named when I got him, so I didn't think I had the right to change it. Odo is named  after the character in Deep Space Nine. My wife's fav. character. The name kinda stuck,,
