Strange Myths about Hedgehogs

This comes from my mother-in-law (I worry about her :rolleyes: ). My husband is on the phone with his mom explaining to her what all the vet did for Aleena. He tells her that the vet pulled off a broken toenail (which was really gross by the by) and his mother suddenly pipes up "She has toes?" My husband says "Yes..." hesitantly. She says "Huh, I thought they were like snails."

So, we are all wrong. Hedgehogs do not have legs, feet or toes and are related to snails.

I nearly drove off the road laughing!

My ex-boyfriend thought that Chloe was the size of a cat and my brother thought she would grow up to be the size of a small dog. :laugh: Silly people. :rolleyes:

I think that she thought they were snails because of the quills. You know, quills are hard (in her mind) and snail shells are hard... I honestly don't know. She's weird. I mean, she'd seen Aleena's legs! Luckily, my husband is adopted!
