Hello again,

As you all can remember, Olive managed to escape last week. Since then, just now, she escaped again, and went back beneath my computer. But this time she most likely jumped off the cage. Because I moved her cage ontop of my chins cage. So she most likely jumped 5 feet to the floor, onto my coushy laundry. hehe. Good for that. But yeah, I was just sitting there eating my ice cream and i heard a noise around my computer and thought it was my sisters cat. Then I looked and saw a hedgehog pass by and I thought to myself that "Do i have another hedgehog?" I'm simply amazed at how smart she is and how tough she is. When i picked her up from under the computer and put her on my bed, she was active as ever...I think its time to beef up hedgehog security...:)

Thanks

Odo did a one time escape herself. I have never found out how she got out and she has not done it since. Make sure that there is nothing that Olive can get into should she keep escaping! Sounds like you really have a little escape artist there!!lol

That is such a cute storey!! I can just imagine sitting at my computer and seeing the same thing.....My hedgie is kept in my computer room also with the rest of the pets here.....so spoiled to have their own bedroom, but they are worth it. I am at the computer often and i have her up at desktop level so i can watch her at night when I am up and it also makes it easier for my daughter and I to pick her out of her cage too.

Sounds like you have a very clever girl there :applause: ........probably worth checking out her cage to see how she is getting out, and make sure to hedgie proof the room until you can figure her out her escape plan LOL

What is she caged in out of curiosity? maybe someone else here can offer you some suggestions on keeping her secure! :)

She's like the Lara Croft of hedgies! I can just imagine the feeling of spotting her.... Is that my hedgehog? How can that be my hedgehog? Isn't my hedgehog in her cage?
