I'd like to introduce you all to my new hedgehog. I have named her Brandy due to her caramel/brown color (if you can help me find out what color she actually is that would be helpful). She's about 9 months old and she's had 1 litter in the past.
The breeder that I got her from has been trying to sell her house and had to keep the hedgies at her friend's place for the past couple of months. Because of that she's a little on the grumpy side from lack of attention. I'm hoping that she will come along quickly. Right now she spends most of her time hissing, clucking, and growling with her quills up and stabbing. LOL. I don't care though, I just pick her up anyway and tell her how cute and not-scary she is to me.
I took Rosie with me for the ride and the breeder was very impressed with her temperment. She said she's a real lady. Hopefully Brandy will turn out like her with a little TLC.
Here are some pics for you guys. I knew you would all want to see her.
I caught her at a good moment for these ones:

Here she is all curled up in a ball, not wanting to play:

And here she is being a little grump and covering her face with her quills:

She's also a little on the thin side. I'm gonna get her lots of mealworms and yummy food to help her put the weight back on:)
I like her a lot, even though my boyfriend isn't too fond her right now while she's grumpy. I know she'll get past this phase... I just know it.
