So I want to take a couple pictures of Homer, but I don't want to freak him out with camera flashes. I know their sight isn't great - are they very photosensitive?
I have one pic of Homer in my profile taken by his breeder. He's not albino.
Any tips on Hedgie photo shoots? :shy:

Instead of a flash try using natural lighting or a full spectrum light bulb. This will prevent the flash in his eyes and give the best actual color result (resisting the wash out of a flash and the yellowing caused by normal light bulbs).
See if that helps. Otherwise, I use a red eye reduction setting on my digital with good luck

Homer J. Man, I really like that name! I think you chose wisely. I have taken a LOT of pic's of Odo and Marco. Sometimes with flash and sometimes without. Though they will stop what they are doing and stare at the camara, the flash dosen't see to hurt their eyes. Just to be sure, I don't take a lot of pic's at the same time, and get as far away from them as I can and use the zoom feature. I really can't wait to see little Homer J.
I took a cam movie of Marco's first bath. What a riot! He is a big camara hog!

Kalandra - Thanks for the advice, I used the redeye and it didn't phase him at all. :)
Ododad - I think Homer is an Attention Whore, he was practically posing. :clown:
