My hedgie didn’t eat for about the past 3 days ! I am worried! I changed her food about 4 weeks ago but I doubt that it could be the problem. She looks like she has had diarrhea but I can tell for sure since she is not eating !

Do you have a Vet nearby? It might be time to see a Doctor.

Has she ever been to the vet? I would take her now, and also take a stool sample with you.

How do you know shes not eating? Are you measuring out the food for her? Maybe she is eating, just not eating as much as usual. Has she been eating her treats at all? I would try hand feeding her some treats that she loves and see if she eats those. Also try and measure out her food until you are sure shes eating again. Is she drinking normally? You said her poos are loose, have you changed her food recently? Did they do a fecal at the vet last time she was there?

She looks like she has had diarrhea but I can tell for sure since she is not eating !
Im not sure I understand this. You think she has diarrhea but you cant tell because shes not eating? So she hasnt been having bowel movements at all? I am thinking it could be Impaction, but im not expert. Is she urinating regularly?

I don't feel like I have enough experience to venture a guess. Most vets will check a stool sample without the hedgie being present and don't charge much for this. My vet only charges $20.00 if she dosen't examine the pog. You can check in the health and nutrition fourm for more information, or wait until someone with a lot more experience comes along. There will be a lot of those people on tonight and this weekend I bet.
Please let us know what you find out.

I say that she might have diarrhea because its kind of dirty on her paws. I know that she is not eating because I only put a little bit of food and none of it is gone. I will make an appointment tomorrow.

Have you tried chicken baby food? That seemed to perk Annabelle up after her brief hunger strike following her spay.
