Hedgie Horney...All the time????

When ever I take Tony out to play he's always erect and running around like a maniac and playing with himself. (Not the whole time but most of it) Especially after eating mealworms (eww..lol) Anyways is this normal for a hedgie of his age (4 months). I'm not sure if it's normal or if he can smell Cleo's scent left in the playpen?

Yup, totally normal. You will find little hard spots in his hedgie bag that DO NOT wash out. :laugh:

BTW- for anyone who is interested, Ive found that you can pick the stains off of the instide of the hedgie bags after they come out of the washing machine and are still wet.

I'm getting a little worried about Marco. Of course, I still have no intention of breeding, but I have been wanting to hear Marco "sing" to Odo like I read that hedgies can do, but to date, Marco shows no sign of being interested in Odo. Actually, he acts like he is scared of her. He is about 4-5 months old ( I think, he is a rescue so I don't know for sure) and as of yet, has not discovered himself in the ways described here. Maybe something is wrong with him?
