I've finally found time to reduce the size of Fiona's picture! (It was way too big) So, here is my new big girl, Fiona!

I have a question about the albino coloration. All of the albinos that ive seen are PURE white- but in Ffionas picture, her quills look to have maybe a little orange tinge to them. Now maybe this is just the picture- but if not, is it possible for a hedgie to have only the albino trait for the pink eyes, and not for the quills?

The color albino means a lack of pigmentation, meaning no coloration what so ever. Fiona looks like she may just be a very dirty albino, or an apricot, I was debating on it. If you look at my Harrington, he's a Pale Apricot Snowflake, his quills are almost white, but VERY SLIGHT creamy color on them, then since he's a snowflake he has a number of plain white quills. His eyes are pinkish and his nose is pink. When they are babies (pale apricots) they look like they are albinos until around 4-6 weeks old, when you start noticing the slight creamy bands.

Here are two pictures of Harrington my Pale Apricot Snowflake:

Well, Fiona is an albino. I think the picture just gives her a strange orange cast or it could be contrast the the green on her head. She was at a larger place where they put food coloring in the water to make it easier to see who was low. Guess who liked to sleep under her bottle? I just really like the look on her face in that picture, I didn't take that one, it was one taken to show me what my girl would look like. As soon as I figure out where our camera is.... Well, I just turned my head and its sitting by the computer, ha. I'm going to take some more pictures of her.

Thanks guys,

As Mommie to Fiona's new "HoggieFriend" Stewie, I must say she is quite the cuttie. Stewie and I both agree on that!! :)
