With the recent revival of Sonic and his hedgehogs, along with a few other threads, a preventative care thread would probably be well timed.
It is evident (even to me, a new hedgie owner and member of this forum) that some people deliberately breed and are not aware of the consequences, do not do their research, and are ultimately unprepared for what will happen.
I think it would be great if the experienced breeders would come together with the pet owners who are absolutely taken with their little pals, to put together a list of...
Things to be considered before breeding.
Maybe it will make no difference at all to those who insist on being stubborn, but it will help those who will listen make educated decisions.
