New Hedgie Soon

Hi all,

Some of you may remember, that my little angel Sonic, passed away back in October.

Well, while I still miss him like crazy, for a Christmas present, my mom is getting me another hedgie!

My mom knew how much I missed him, and so one evening, after she pried me off of the computer ;) , she went surfing and came across Tig's site (hedgehogvalley.com)...well, to make a long story short (too late:laugh: ), I have a deposit down on a baby from Tig!

I'm so excited - I know this little boy doesn't replace Sonic (no pog ever could -they would have some tough quills to fill!), but I'm looking forward to having another hedgie in my life.

And even though I won't have him for a few weeks, I'm already managing to spoil him - I'm buying all of his liners, bages, etc. from Nancy (Teasel's Mom)...and I can't wait!!

Just thought I would share the news!

I have some of Tig's lines and I have to say these are great hedgehogs. CONGRATULATIONS! There were two females I really wanted from her a little while ago but they were spoken for. :) Congratulations. You are really lucky.

That is awesome Kate! While those pogs can never be replaced, you can always open your heart to a new one. Tig has some really neat babies! I'm always tempted! What color are you looking for?

The little one doesn't have a name yet, I've got a few I'm thinking about, but I figure the 'perfect' name will come when I have him home.

I will definetly post pictures - I just a digital camera (well, actually my mom did for her birthday- but I'm the one who gets to "play" with it!! lol)

Tawana - we're hoping for a cinnacot, but I guess the babies from these parent sometimes darken to brown. Either color, he'll still be adorable!

Besides, even if he does end up a brown, then I'll have to make the sacrifice to get a cinnacot later on, right???? ;) :laugh:
