2005 Hedgehog Wheel-A-Thon for HWS

Get those wheels ready for the Hedgehog Welfare Society's 2nd Annual Wheel-A-Thon! Monies raised for this fundraiser benefit HWS in their efforts to provide education, research and funding for the numerous rescue work this organization does. www.hedgehogwelfare.org

Annabelle, Atticus and Oliver are all signed up and encourage their fellow quilled ones to tell their parents to sign them up too!

How is the money raised? Do I give money myself? Or do I ask for sponsers?

When I signed up, I was told that I would be recieving an email with all the information.

You ask for people to pledge any amount of money for your hogs that are registered. I just hit up my co-workers, friends and family and so far I've already raised $150! Not too shabby! :) I'm going to also do a donation myself. I'm going to also ask my vet clinic to sponser my kids.
You can collect the money either in check form and mail it in or send a payapl. They'll give the specifics in the e-mail.

Wow :) $150 is great! I have a feeling I will get laughed at if I ask people to sponser my hedgies :( I had a hard enough time selling chocolates in highschool LOL I think this might be fun though :)

BTW- do you have to be a US citizen to enter?

I don't know for sure about the US citizenship thing. I don't think it would matter, but that would be a good question to ask Heather. You can contact her through the link for the Wheel-A-Thon.
Everyone who knows me already agrees that I'm crazy, so this one didn't suprise them one bit :) Who want's to be "normal" anyway ;)

I'm sure you can still sign up! Tonight is the *official* night of the Wheel-A-Thon and I believe they are collecting money through the end of Feb. :)
