-2 hedgie bags (when I get him I will get this)
-Vellux bedding
-a couple of tp rolls
-4" PVC Tee

Sounds good. The only thing I might add a human heating pad for extra heat if needed.

I think you have covered just about everything. Good for you. :applause:

Hmm, I though I typed that in, oh well, I do have a heating pad though I keep my place at a very percise 73 degrees so I doubt it will be needed but thanks for pointing that out.

MrGew - I had an Igloo and the PVC pipe. Homer completely snubbed his nose at the $15 Igloo and will only go in the $5 PVC pipe. Homer also uses only his water dish.

Good luck! It seems like yo're pretty prepared. I've had Homer a couple weeks and now I'm looking into a playpen so that he can run aroung in the evening during playtime safely.

Murdoc is the exact opposite! He LOVES his $4.00 igloo, totally ignores the $11.00 PVC pipe. Maybe he is afraid of getting stuck!
Im keeping it in there anyways, just because the cage seems so empty without it.

Im also looking into a playpen for Murdoc. Bosco likes his wheel and that is about it, whenever I let him out to run around he just finds a place to sleep. However, once Murdoc has settled down, he seems to like to sniff around. For now I let him explore the bathroom (supervised). I find this is a good place because accidents are easy to clean up on the tile floor. Yesturday during his play time he spent 15minutes annointing over some fake ivy that was on the floor!

Well i guess its ok if he snubs the pvc, cause it was free, and if he snubs the igloo it was 4 bucks so no big deal. I've got a play pen type thing, mostly cause i have a corner desk and it makes a pen, and even though its carpeted all i have to do is unroll so vellux and all will be well. Oh well till the 22nd the nice home will set empty.

I know it sounds cheesy, but for a play pen, I took one of those plastic childs swimming pool and cut the bottom out of it and used the rim for a play pen.

OMG! That is so smart!
That is so much cheaper than buying a wire one, and I bet I will be able to find one that slides right under my bed. Now the trick will be finding a kiddy swimming pool in the middle of December
