um well.. see this is where I'm kind of a hipocrite (sorry my spelling is bad)
although I love Mu more then anything on earth and wouldn't trade him in for the world I'm starting to disagree with people buying them as house pets.
Don't get me wrong, Mu is VERY well taken care of and is VERY happy and we love him, but to many people are seeing them in petstores and so on and thinking that they are cool and buying them not knowing what it's like to own one.
I'm glad you asked though. Pot belly pigs require ALOT of attention, And they are litterally like having a 3 year old child, they are VERY smart, and if they get lonely and bored they can be distructive.
Mu doesn't like to be alone, and he is quick to get into EVERYTHING, if you own ANYTHING nice, you don't want a pig :P
but when it all comes down to it, he's my best friend, but to answer your question, no... he's not like a dog. If you have a little annoying brother you would understand...:P

She is cute as ever!
ok hehe loL! i Know they require a lot of attention ! But What I meant by the dog thing is.. lol... Is your pig roaming around the house alone !? I know pigs are very inteligent and they can be very well trained (well you know what I mean hehe)Are they easy to "litter train". Can they go outside during winter, if not what do you do when you live in Canada ! LOL
sorry for asking questions loL! I am just interested hehe

If you don't ask questions, how will you ever learn? I thought it was a good question, and a good answer.
That little girl is a darling! Congrats!!

well, he doesn't have free roam of the house because he does get pretty destructive, and he is litter trained but mostly only to one room,if he's in his room he'll use it, but if he has free roam of the house he'll go wherever his little piggy heart desires.
It's a bit cold already for him to go outside, he doesn't like it, so we just keep him in, till my grandmother makes him his winter jacket.
go ahead ask all the questions you need....there's not alot of info on these guys at all anywhere. I know I couldn't find info anywhere, and I'm learning everything first hand.
I made a lot of researches but i never actually talked to owner. All I have read about them was like they where the same has a dog(or almost) thanks for answering my questions !! :)

they only way they are like a dog is the fact they are a large animal and they walk around the house and don't stay in a cage. Some are easy to train, but Dogs love to please their owners and are easly trained that way, pigs are very thick headed and if they don't wanna do somthing they won't
