This cake is delicious and very easy to make, so the kids can help too. I use 2 pre-made log cakes from any local bakery or grocery store, chocolate for a "normal" colored hedghog and white for an albino. (un-iced or iced if you can find the right color, i prefer un-iced s I can make it original) the first one makes the basic hedgehog shape the other gets cut in half to make a rounded bum and a pointed nose..the I ice the cake using brown icing( I add white to mine to make it lighter) for a "normal" colored hedgie and white for an albino hedgie. then for the quills I use round chocolate wafers (the kind you buy at the bulk store..again chocolate for a "normal" hedgie and white for an albino...then I use smarties or m & m's for the eyes and nose and ta-da a little hedgie cake...here is what it looks like when finished.. an the kids think there great:)http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v252/vampire_666/hedgiecake.bmp

Why not use coconut to make the tail? Chocolate and coconut go so well together! ;)
