Hello all,
In light of recent inquires and mega-hedgie trains to
transport rescued hedgehogs, we would like to announce
the re-formation of the hedgehogtrain list. There was
a hedgie-train list a few years back that met with
limited success. We are hoping that the revamped
hedgehogtrain list will be more useful and based on the success
of the recent trains we are confident it will be a wonderful
resource for those hedgies needing rescued!! The purpose
of the hedgehogtrain list is to:
1) Enable those willing to participate in hedgehog
trains to put their information on file, so those
organizing trains can contact them (whether they are
regular participants in the yahoo lists or not).
2) Allow those arranging rescue-trains to announce the
need for legs in the train to a group ready and eager
to participate. Posts for train-needs can be
cross-posted from any other hedgie or rescue list.
3) Allow for one-stop efficient organization of trains
to bring rescue hedgehogs to their forever homes.
4) The list will be 100% ON TOPIC. No off-topic posts
allowed!!
5) The list welcomes all those in the hedgehog
community who are willing to participate in
hedgie-trains. Hopefully, it will bring together
willing train-participants from the various hedgehog
lists.
